About this settlement

iPhone buyers allegedly did not receive promised Siri Apple Intelligence features

Summary

A class action alleges consumers bought certain iPhones expecting to receive Siri Apple Intelligence features that they allegedly did not receive. Apple denies all of the allegations and any wrongdoing. Apple agreed to pay $250 million into a settlement fund, from which notice and administration costs, attorneys' fees, and service awards are deducted. Settlement Class Members who submit a valid Claim Form will receive $25 per Eligible Device, which may be increased pro rata up to a maximum of $95 per device or decreased depending on the number of valid claims. A separate Claim Form must be submitted for each device.

Who qualifies

U.S. residents who purchased an iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max in the United States between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025, for personal or business use and not for resale. You must be the original purchaser of the device. The Claim Form requires confirming you expected certain Siri Apple Intelligence features at purchase and providing information sufficient to confirm your purchase. Excluded are Apple and its controlled entities, directors, officers, employees, and legal representatives, as well as judicial officers assigned to the case and their staff and immediate families.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I claim from the Apple Inc. Settlement?
Eligible claimants can receive up to $95. That is the ceiling, not a guarantee. The total settlement fund is $250 MM. Final amounts in class action settlements commonly depend on how many valid claims are filed and on what the court approves for fees and costs, so the amount you receive can be lower than the maximum. The claim administrator determines the final figure.
What is the claim deadline for the Apple Inc. Settlement?
Claims must be submitted by December 21, 2026.
Do I need proof of purchase to file a claim?
Yes. This settlement requires claimants to provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, order confirmation or account record. Check the official claim form for exactly which documents the administrator accepts.
When will I get paid?
Payments are issued by the claim administrator, not by Suits. They typically go out three to six months after the claim deadline, and longer if the settlement is appealed. The administrator's website is the authoritative source for payment timing.
